The program, called Vutest for Schools®, is intended to be used by education authorities
The program will reassure educational establishments that they are providing good eye health care
for all students using computers.
Used in this manner, it proves to be a very cost effective way to provide healthy and efficient sight for VDU users.
It will save the cost of unnecessary professional eye examinations by up to 75%.
The program threshold tests the alignment and acuities of the
eyes and prints out a report. If the sight is below a clinically acceptable
standard, the report recommends a full eye examination, and gives details
of the test for the user's optometrist.
